Dr. Boschen

Born and raised in Springfield, Dr. Boschen graduated from Hillcrest High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. After beginning his career practicing in St. Louis, Dr. Boschen returned to Springfield. He began working here at North Side Animal Clinic in 1990 and purchased the practice in 1996. Dr. Boschen loves his chosen career and interacting with his patients and their owners. He and his wife have three adult children, three grandchildren, and a cat named Gibby that they adore. Outside of work, Dr. Boschen enjoys gardening, golf, hiking, and participating in activities at his church.

Lucia Reid - Receptionist

Lucia grew up in Florida and moved to Missouri in 1989. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 1995 and has worked here at North Side Animal Clinic since 2017. Lucia has two dogs named Frances and Foxy Roxy, two cats named George and Keegan, and one Missouri Foxtrotter horse named Star. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking with her dogs, and going to the movies with friends.

Amber Tucker - Veterinary Assistant

Amber grew up in Springfield and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2000 and began working here at North Side Animal Clinic in 2019. Amber assists Dr. Boschen during surgeries and daily appointments. She and her husband have two cats named Chomper and Little Gray. Amber enjoys crafting, music, and tabletop role playing games.

Kaylea Rice - Receptionist

Kaylea grew up on her family’s farm north of Springfield and learned about caring for many kinds of animals. She graduated from Willard High School in 2019 and spent a couple of years at Ozarks Technical Community College before joining the staff here at North Side Animal Clinic in 2021. She has three dogs named Dollie, Otis, and Izzy. She also has a Missouri Fox Trotter horse, mini horse, mini mule, and mini donkey. Kaylea’s hobbies include multiple mediums of art, crafting, horseback riding, and music.

Kendra Edge - Receptionist

Kendra was born and raised in Townsend, Massachusetts. She and her husband moved to Missouri in 2001, when she also began working here at North Side Animal Clinic. Kendra left the clinic for a few years to take care of their four children and returned to the clinic in 2016. She began attending Missouri State in fall 2021 for a degree in Wildlife Conservation / Management and plans to pursue a Masters degree. Her family has two dogs: Burlington and Shamrock, and four cats: Fenway, Foxborough, Pawtucket, and Revere. Her hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, visiting national parks, gardening, thrift shopping, and spending time with her family.
